Principle Key Attributes
3 Responsiveness Development responds and maintains the existing features of the site including
to existing site landform, which allows the retention of native vegetation.
features
NOTE: This principle does not imply that development on slopes must be small-scale
buildings which ‘touch the ground lightly’ with minimal earthworks. There are many
examples in Noosa where buildings have been part-excavated into the landform, but
the final outcome (with landform restoration and landscaping) appears to ‘fit’ into a
hillside.
