Scheme Policies (PSP’s) contained as a condition of a development permit
and/or under the former Coastal Major Road Network Infrastructure Charges
Plan (CMRNICP); and
ii. all infrastructure charges and/or contributions being paid under delayed
staged payment or other infrastructure agreements.
Finance
Council is required to have an adopted a Charges Resolution that is compliant with current
planning legislation to issue infrastructure charges and impose conditions about trunk
infrastructure on development. The infrastructure charges revenue is estimated in the order of $2
million per annum.
Risks & Opportunities
Regular reviews with appropriate updates to Council’s Charges Resolution will reduce the risk for
potential legal appeals being lodged against infrastructure charges issued on development.
