NOOSA PLAN 2020 - REQUEST FOR ADOPTION TO MINISTER FOR STATE
DEVELOPMENT, MANUFACTURING, INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLANNING

Consideration of Submissions

Cr Stockwell declared a real conflict of interest (as defined in section 175D of the Local
Government Act 2009) in relation to submission number 20866267 to the Noosa Planning
Scheme 2020 that he made as the Group Leader of the Noosa Sea Scouts on their behalf, The
submission related to the historic uses of the site and the current nature of scouting activities
and requested consideration of the proposed land use provisions relating to the site owned by
Scouts Queensland in Noosaville. Cr Stockwell advised he would leave the meeting room for
the debate and decision on the Consideration of Submission 20866267 (page 121 of
Attachment 1).

Cr Stockwell left the meeting.

Council Resolution

Moved: Cr Wellington
Seconded: Cr Wilkie

That Council note the report by the Director Environment & Sustainable Development
to the Special Meeting dated 11 December and adopt the Strategic Planning staffs’
recommendation in relation to submission number 20866267 relating to the Scouts
Queensland site at Noosaville within the Consultation Report, noting that no change to
that site is proposed in the planning scheme.

Carried unanimously.
Cr Stockwell returned to the meeting.
