H. Note the draft Local Law for Short Term letting is under review in response to
submissions, propose that further consultation with stakeholders occurs in
finalising the Local Law prior to reporting back to Council;

That Item A be amended to read:

A. Adopt the Strategic Planning staffs’ recommendations within the Consultation
Report, which includes consideration of all submissions, as set out in Attachment
1 (with the exception of submission number 20866267 which has been dealt with
separately), and

1, With regard to submission numbers 20867921, 21003253 and 20867830
agree that changes be made to the Strategic Outcomes for Transport and
Movement (Section 3.3.6) within the Strategic Framework as follows:

(n) The Noosa Aerodrome off Weyba Drive, Noosaville is retained and
operated as the only commercial airstrip within Noosa Shire. Use of
the Noosa North Shore airstrip will not be expanded and the airstrip
will ultimately be closed to use by private and commercial helicopters
and fixed wing aircraft, although continued use of the area by
emergency services helicopters for emergency operational landings
and limited local area familiarisation and training and by ultralight and
model aircraft will be permitted.

Against: Crs Stockwell, Wellington and Glasgow

The Mayor exercised his casting vote by voting against the motion.
