Fill shall be compacted to 95% relative dry density as per Main Roads Department Test No. Q8A. A
registered practicing Geotechnical Engineer shall supervise all the placement of fill and shall certify
that all lots have been compacted to the required standard.

Any existing fill on the site that does not comply with Council’s requirements shall be removed at the
direction of the Manager Land Development prior to additional filling works commencing.

Following completion of the filling works, the registered practicing Geotechnical Engineer supervising
the works shall submit compaction tests across the entire filled areas and a site classification report
for each lot subject to filling. The extent of fill and each lot site classification shall be shown ona
metes and bounds survey plan.

Acid Suifate Soils

Where excavations are proposed below R.L 5.0m AHD a report shall be submitted from a suitably
qualified person in conjunction with an application for development permit for operational works
(earthworks), to determine if acid sulfate soils are Present on site. If acid sulfate soils are present on
site the report shall also outline the tequired treatment and management of the disturbed soils in
accordance with the requirements of State Planning Policy 2/02 ‘Planning and managing development
involving acid sulfate soils’.

Erosion & Sediment Control

To protect the environment against siltation/sediment export or soil erosion as a result of this
development, an erosion and sediment control plan shall be submitted in conjunction with an
application for a development permit for operational works (earthworks). Site control measures such .
as silt fencing, controlled gravel access to the site and controlled disposal of waste, may be
necessary. Prior to. commencement of building works, all physical site control measures shall be
installed, and the plan adhered to.

Town Water Supply

The applicant will construct at its cost a second feed in conjunction with the construction of the Walter
Hay Drive access if the anticipated loading on the system for the ultimate development exceeds the
equivalent of 35 tenements.

Sizes of the mains are to be a minimum of 1 50mm diameter and are to be confirmed by a network
analysis carried out by Councils consultants at the applicants cost.

A water supply master plan for ultimate development shall be to the satisfaction of the Manager - Land
Development and shall be submitted in conjunction with an application for operational works {water
supply). The Water Supply Master Plan will consider metering of individual occupancies and common
(body corporate): flows as well as the reticulation system and valving atrangements. All water
infrastructure will be designed and constructed in accordance with the approved Water Supply Master
Plan.

Sewer Capacity

The applicant at its costs will construct the proposed sewer rising main in the development to
discharge to Manhole NV40/01/18 in Eenie Creek Road.

The existing sewer pump station and rising main are to be upgraded by the applicant to the standards
and requirements as detailed in Councils Engineering Design Manual - Water & Sewerage.

A Sewer Master Plan for ultimate development shall be submitted to the reasonable satisfaction of the
Manager Land Development in conjunction with an application for a development permit for
Operational works (sewer works).. All sewer infrastructure will be designed and constructed in
accordance with the approved Sewer Master Plan.

All internal reticulation works (both water and sewerage) are to be constructed in accordance with
Noosa Council Engineering Standards for Water and Sewerage (depending on tenure may be
