CHOOSING FUTURES: Shire Business Centre Master Plan - Stage 2 11 j. The relationship between the main retail areas and open space areas is of importance. In addition, some key employment nodes would benefit from strong relationships with open space areas. The relationship between the main retail areas and key employment nodes is of importance, The site will be developed at a human scale in keeping with the character of Noosa. The buildings onsite will generally be of a low rise form comprising one and two storeys, creating spaces for people that are integrated with the natural environment. The design outcomes for the site should recognize the character of Noosa. Buildings should be of a design recognized as being appropriate to a Noosa location. The western sector of the Shire Business will have uses that are car-oriented and parking areas need a degree of visibility and may be in front of buildings. The eastern sector offers more Opportunity for buildings to be the dominant visual feature from the loop road with carparking at the side or rear of buildings.
