        RESPONSE TO REQUEST FOR FURTHER INFORMATION
        MCU19/0017

Please find enclosed a response to the civil engineering items within the request for further
information from Noosa Council dated 28 February 2019.

Issue - Earthworks

The proposed earthworks have the potential to impact on the adjoining properties, especially the
building located adjacent to the southern boundary. The submitted engineering report does not
include sufficient comment to demonstrate how the potential impacts can be addressed.

Information Required

25.   Provide an amended engineering report that includes comment on the construction methods
      that could be employed to address the potential to impact on the adjoining properties.

Response

The civil engineering report has been amended to provide comment on construction methodology of the
boundary retaining for the basement. The retaining/shoring will be undertaken as a Design and Construct
package as part of detailed design and will ensure that the neighbouring buildings are supported during
both the construction phase and operational phase.
