Item 2
The power pole (P62170-A) located at the front of the premise is for the use of the subject
properties only. SARA considers the power pole, which is proposed to be located in the
access island to be a safety issue for vehicles. Therefore, SARA proposes to condition that
this pole be removed from this location. Removal of the power pole from the access area
would remove the hazard and need for a traffic island which requires pedestrians to divert
around a traffic island at the access. SARA advises the applicant so that alternative
arrangements for electricity can be considered.
Response: Please refer to the revised Engineering Plans prepared by Ingeniir. The existing power pole is
proposed to be relocated, and accordingly, the previously proposed traffic island within the driveway has
been removed.
We thank SARA on behalf of the applicant for assessing the attached additional application material.
Based on the information provided in this application we respectfully request that SARA proceed to issue
an approval.
Should you have any questions with respect to the above, please do not hesitate to contact the
undersigned.
Yours faithfully,
