RE:         Request for Plans to be Endorsed as ‘Generally in Accordance’ with the Existing Operational
            Works Approval (Council Reference: OPW25/0009) at 14-16 Reserve St Pomona described as
            Lot 2 SP 115871

Dear Sir,

Please find enclosed a request for plans to be endorsed as ‘generally in accordance’ with an existing
approval for Operational Works (Council Reference: OPW25/0009) at 14-16 Reserve St, Pomona
described as Lot 2 on SP115871.

In support of the request, please find enclosed:
     + Amended Engineering Plans (Attachment 1);

Payment of the generally in accordance request fee will be made upon Council issuing the relevant Tax
Invoice.

Background

1.    On 14 March 2025, Council decided to approve an application for a Development Permit for
      Operational Works - Drainage Works, Earthworks, Landscaping, Roadworks, Stormwater.

2.    The plans referenced in the approval were prepared by RECOR Engineering.

3.    Condition 3 of the approval required plan amendments to remove the “not for construction” notation
      and for the plans to duly signed by an RPEQ Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
      which must be submitted to Council prior to the prestart meeting.


Proposal

4.    A different project engineer (AAA Design & Development Pty Ltd) has since been engaged and has
      prepared plans that are consistent with the original referenced plans prepared by RECOR Engineering
      but also include plan amendments required by Condition 3 of the approval (refer to Attachment 1 –
      Amended Engineering Plans).
