provided. Limited detail has been provided in regard to the proposed water source, in
particular reference to compliance with the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.

Page 3

The supply of water for human consumption, food preparation, food utensil washing or
personal hygiene, including the supply of water for drinking water, showers, baths, hand basin
and kitchen sinks, must be connected to a drinking water supply, in accordance with the

Response

The ‘Teahouse’ building has an existing 12,000L water tank. The water is filtered to drinking quality
standard.

The adjacent sheds buildings also have a total water tank capacity of 38,000L.

A condition can be imposed requiring that all potable water supplies meet the relevant drinking
water standards.

Issue – Vehicular Access

Greater detail is sought in regard to the existing condition of the access track via Porters Lane,
and clarification of the extent of clearing proposed for the dwelling and access track.
Item 5.6 of the Bushfire Hazard Assessment and Management Plan raises concern in regard
to the extent of clearing which may be required in addition to the extent of clearing required to

proposed..

Information Required

The clearing recommended in the bushfire report has already been undertaken as exempt clearing to
ensure that people can safely evacuate in the event of a bushfire. No further clearing is necessary or
