 4. Parks and Playgrounds Asset Management Improvement Initiatives
The development of the Plan identified a number of initiatives for continual improvement in achieving
good asset management outcomes. Key areas for improvement included:
   •   Asset Inventory;
   •   Levels of Service;
   •   Asset Responsibility;
   •   Condition Assessments;
   •   Capital Planning;
   •   Asset Systems;
   •   Renewal Plans; and
   •   Maintenance Plans.
These initiatives are detailed in the Plan.
Previous Council Consideration
Council has adopted the following Asset Management Plans:
   •   Noosa Council Strategic Asset Management Plan, September 2017;
   •   Main Beach Sand Pumping System Asset Management, February 2018;
   •   Noosa Aquatic Centre Asset Management Plan, March 2018;
   •   Road Bridges Asset Management Plan, August 2018;
   •   Road Infrastructure Asset Management Plan, December 2018;
   •   Stormwater Infrastructure Asset Management Plan, February 2019; and
   •   Buildings and Facilities Asset Management Plan, July 2019; and
   •   Pathways and Boardwalks Asset Management Plan January 2021.
