I refer to the above application and in particular to the request for additional information issued by your nd Council and dated 2 July 2013. This request listed one item that Council considers is necessary in order to complete its assessment of the above application. The applicant has decided to respond to this item as detailed below: Item 1: Provide a Noise Impact Assessment and demonstrate that the proposed use will not adversely impact on the adjacent noise sensitive premises. Applicant’s Response to Item 1: The applicant engaged David Moore to undertake a Noise Impact Assessment in relation to the proposed outdoor dining areas. A copy of the report is attached. The report concludes that based on the distance of the nearest residence to the outdoor dining areas and that no outdoor living areas are provided along the western façade of the residential building, the dining areas will comply with relevant noise requirements. The applicant considers that they have now responded to Council’s information request. Would you please provide us with a list of adjoining owners so we may commence public notification of the application? Please contact our Sunshine Coast office if you require any further information and/or clarification. Yours faithfully, Nadine Gorton Senior Planner martoo consulting pty ltd
