Cash Management and Investment Performance
Total cash at the end of June was $68 million, comprising $64 million operational funds held at
bank and $3 million in trust. Included in the operational bank balance are funds constrained for
restricted purposes (e.g. unexpended levy and grant funds) and unspent monies committed for
funding capital projects which are underway and will likely carryover into the 2018/19 financial
year.
The pie charts following present the mix of cash held at June 2018 by agency (graph on the left)
and by credit risk rating (graph on the right). The investment mix complies with Council’s
investment policy.
