5. CONCLUSION & REASONS FOR DECISION
The proposed uses are consistent within the zone and generally comply with the relevant
provisions within the Noosa Plan. Council’s proposed upgrade of the Hilton Terrace-Ernest Street
intersection, the encroachment of an existing building within the road reserve and frontage works
required as part of the development are proposed to be managed by an Infrastructure
Agreement. The proposed development will present positively at a significant entrance point to
Tewantin.
