        i)     Business activities are located and designed to provide a safe and secure environment for
               patrons and employees.

The proposed development is consistent with the overall outcomes sought by the Business uses code.
A full assessment against the relevant benchmarks is provided in Appendix G. The assessment against
the Business uses code determines that the development is generally compliant with the relevant
performance outcomes of the code.


5.2.4        OVERLAYS

The site is affected by the Landslide hazard overlay. The development will require some earthworks and
excavation to accommodation the development. A geotechnical report has been prepared by Core
Consulting and is attached as Appendix E to the report. The geotechnical report provides an assessment
of the site’s stability and includes recommendations for construction and protection of adjoining
properties during the development. An assessment of the Landslide hazard overlay code has been
undertaken and included in Appendix G of this report.


5.2.5        APPLICABLE ASSESSMENT BENCHMARKS


An assessment against the relevant codes / assessment benchmarks is provided in Appendix G of this
report.
