RECOMMENDATION
That Council note the report by the Property Advisor to the Services & Organisation Committee
Meeting dated 10 November 2020 regarding the request by Eco Cottages for extended tenure
over Council land at 4 Jarrah St Cooroy (formally described as Lot 2 RP176126) and:
A.   Agree to enter a new commercial lease agreement with Eco Cottages Pty Ltd, commencing
     on the expiry of Eco Cottages’ existing lease in November 2021, as generally outlined in
     the report; and
B.   Agree to enter into a short-term interim permit for use of the 200m2 balance area of the site
     up to the November 2021 lease commencement date.


REPORT
The purpose of this report is to seek Council agreement to extend the tenure of Eco Cottages Pty
Ltd, an existing lessee of Council-owned land in the Cooroy industrial estate.
Council owns a 5,800m2 freehold industrial allotment at 4 Jarrah Street, Cooroy (Lot 2
RP176126). An aerial photograph of the site and its surrounds is shown at Figure 1.
