I 0JVe), make the following submission: IfWe object to the proposal for a service station development as per the Application MCU15/0095 at
Lol30 SP 17075', 115 Eumundi-Noosa Road (adjacent to the GSLC and open-air school pool) because l!We believe:
• the proximity of a service station, an open-air swimming pool, approximately 900 school children, an electricity substation and a higher volume of traffic
entering this adjacent site poses a number of unnecessary and unacceptable health and safety risks for our school community (on a daily basis. but also
in the evenl of an unforeseen incident or emergency)
• the traffic impact and congestion issues along this section of Eumundi.Noosa Road and al the entry and exit points to both roundabouts in th:e immediate
I vicinity (Goodchap Street and Walter Hay Drive) will be significant and unacceptable
• there are components of the proposed service station development which are inconsistent andl or non compliant with the Noosa plan
• there is a not a need for the proposed development. given that Council has recently approved a service station/shop at 139 Eumundi.Noosa Road
IThese concerns are a brief summary only. and IMle support a more comprehensive Submission 'Nhich will be lodged by our parent Action Group prior
to the due date 18/12/15.
