This Bushland & Wetland Rehabilitation Plan (BWRP) has been prepared to direct rehabilitation works associated with the Reconfiguration of A Lot (RAL)
development application over Lot 4 on RP36729, located at 111 Lake Weyba Dr, Noosaville QLD.

This plan prescribes the various rehabilitation methodologies required to enhance the ecological resilience of the Rehabilitation Area in accordance with
the NSC PS 2020.

REHABILITATION OBJECTIVES
1. Restore and enhance the floristic and structural integrity to the Rehabilitation Areas (as defined in Plate A on RP02); and
2. Objective 1 will be achieved via targeted treatment of exotic weed taxa and revegetation works.

OVERALL RESTORATION STRATEGY

The Rehabilitation Areas comprise an approximate total area of 0.93ha and consist of a mixture of open forest with weed dominated understorey and
modified areas host to scattered mature trees over lawn.

The Rehabilitation Area contains a moderate-high level of weed presence including areas of cocos palm in the canopy and Singapore daisy in the
understorey. Overall, the site contains a low in-situ ecological resilience hence requires a combination of assisted natural regeneration and comprehensive
revegetation works to ensure the success of the program.

The modified areas with scattered mature trees will be rehabilitated by a direct reconstruction approach (as defined within the South-East Queensland
Ecological Restoration Framework) where they are subjected to comprehensive revegetation program involving local open forest flora associated with RE
412.3.11 which correlates with the pre-clearing regional ecosystem for this area of the site and observations of the native vegetation composition in adjoining
bushland areas.

A combination of an ‘assisted natural regeneration’ management approach and a reconstruction approach is anticipated to be required within the open
forest areas given the abundance of weed species (majority in the understorey). The area will also be rehabilitated to the target RE 12.3.4 which correlates
with the pre-clearing regional ecosystem for this area of the site.

NOTE:
The existing track (approx. 3m wide) within the western extent of the Rehabilitation Area is to be retained and no revegetation works is to occur within this
area (refer black dashed linework Plate A).
