MCU180166 - Submission - Mark & Lisa Henry
M Henry 08/06/2019 301 Tablelands rd Cooran 4569 Ph 0418755311 y 4)<<s0A1 fir E : [email protected] e;‘) qv,1 41/ . eat04,46' ) Aft : Assessment Manager Noosa Shire Council Ref : MCU18/0166 In response to the proposed NBN tower on Tablelands rd Cooran. As a resident of Cooran and a neighbour to the proposed tower site I would like to make my opposition to the tower go on notice. I feel the tower will be a visual impairment to our view, I also feel the resultant radiation from the tower will cause both my wife and myself health issues, I am not confident with the suppliers report on emission levels, and overall assessments on radiation levels We primarily bought this property for its magnificent view, the proposed tower will be front and centre in this view. I find this unacceptable. And believe it will adversely affect our property value. I find it also unacceptable under the Noosa Biosphere practices to allow such a tower in a environmental area that Council sees as special, so much so that Council will not allow me to break off and sell some of my 30 plus acres for sale, how is it that I cannot subdivide but Aurecon can get this small plot of land? double standards come to mind. I most certainly would support any potential legal action that be brought to bear to prevent this tower. If in the unlikely event that this tower should go ahead I would urge Council to enforce firstly that Aurecon compensate residents who's view will be compromised by the Tower, and secondly would suggest Council enforce the Developer ( Aurecon) to seal Tableland rd up to the tower site, as a resident I have seen many accidents on this poorly made rd, one actually involving a police vehicle in a head on collision just below the Tower site. I strongly urge Council to reject this proposal. Yours Sincerely Mark a • Lisa Henry
