FENCING SPECIFICATION

See below the various fencing specifications required to meet the
design requirements stated within Council’s approval.

FENCING LOCATION

Plate C — Fencing Plan Overview has been prepared to outline the
location of the fencing requirements within the site (refer Plate C
RP05).

Location Restrictions

The below fencing design specifications are required in order to meet
conditions 10i & 36 of Council's approval.

No fence construction to occur within Vegetation Protection
Covenant Areas and Fire Break Trail (easement) Areas.

Additionally, all fences must be located entirely within private land
and not within public road reserve.

FENCING DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS

The below fencing design specifications are required in order to meet
condition 32 of Council’s approval.

Fauna Friendly Fencing is to be provided along all Vegetation
Protection Covenant boundaries (refer green linework Plate C RP05)
and shall consist of the following;

e = 1.2m high;
e 3-strand plain wire (no barb); and
e Bottom strand no less than 300mm off the ground.

It is envisaged that a gate will be required along the road frontage
with the Fire Break Trail (easement). Gate locations have been
specified on Plate C (refer yellow circles). Gates are to consist of a
swing gate with a minimum width of 4m to be left unlocked at all times
in order for emergency access to be provided to QFES.

A 1.2m high Dog Proof Fencing is to be provided along the entre
common boundary to the Vegetation Protection Covenant (refer red
linework Plate C RP05).

NOTE: The Dog Proof Fencing is to be provided along the entire
common boundary to the easement in order to comply with the fire
break requirements (refer NCES BHAMP 2022 Fire Break Plan) and
Condition 10i.

AS sized signage with the wording “Vegetation Protection Covenant
Area — No domestic animals” is to be provided every 15m along the
Dog Proof Fencing and is to consist of materials that are durable,
weather resistant and visually commentary to the natural
environment.

Allotment boundaries within the Vegetation Protection Covenant
Areas shall be delineated by capped star pickets at 15m intervals as

It is envisaged that a gate will be required along the easement
boundary (dog proof fencing) within each lot for maintenance
purposes (i.e. mowing the fire break). Gate location to be determined
by land holder and is not a part of this plan.

EXTERNAL FENCING SPECIFICATION

Any future fencing around external boundaries of the site are to
consist of Fauna Friendly Fencing (refer above design specification
for Fauna Friendly Fencing).
