We would like to submit this letter of support in relation to the material change application from
Cooroy-Noosa Genealogical & Historical Research Group Inc.

The SES have been consulted about the Cooroy Noosa Genealogical and Historical Group’s
Material Change of Use application for 1SP275863 and has viewed the concept plans for the
application. We are aware that a parking audit has been undertaken, and understand that the
Group will be utilising the public car parking in Emerald Street where there is ample parking for
all activities in the community precinct. Consideration should be given to SES members’
vehicles and SES vehicles during disasters and emergencies.

We understand that the Cooroy Noosa Genealogical Group is funding the majority of the building
through years of fundraising and will be seeking the remainder of the funds required from
State Government and further fundraising activities.

The SES wishes the Group every success with the project, and acknowledges the community
service and attraction that a Heritage Centre will provide.
