New Temporary Local Planning Instrument
A proposed TLPI (Protected Vegetation Overlay) 2014 is provided at Attachment 1.
Due to the limited time between now and the date of the TLPI expiry on 23 June 2014 there is
insufficient time to make any significant changes to the TLPI as consultation with the community
would be required. Subsequently no changes are proposed to the TLPI 02-2013 except for the
removal of all references to the planning schemes south of the Noosa Shire boundaries, ie all
provisions and exemptions relating to the removal of tree/s will remain the same.
It is intended a detailed review of TLPI 2014 involving extensive community consultation will be
undertaken when the Noosa Plan is reviewed over the next 12 months.
