Waste Management Plan
Proposed Workers Accommodation
23 Bottlebrush Avenue, Noosa
5.0 SERVICING
5.1 BIN SERVICING POINT
All wheelie bins will be carted by site management to the servicing point at kerb side on
Bottlebrush Avenue (refer to Figure 2). The service provider will empty the bins on
Bottlebrush Avenue and return the empty bins to the kerb side following collection. It will be
the responsibility of site management to return the empty bins to the bin storage area
following servicing.
Access arrangements ensure:
1. Pavement capable of supporting required axle loads;
2. Adequate manoeuvring at the street frontage;
3. Bins positioned within the maximum reach of the side-loading arm;
4. No requirement for collection vehicles to enter the site.
5.2 COLLECTION VEHICLES
Table 4 details the dimensions of the waste collection vehicles that will service the
development. Side-loading service vehicles will empty the wheelie bins on Bottlebruash
Avenue in a clear area with no overhead obstructions.
