         Re: Request for Planning Approval for Upgrading Works
             Sea Vista, 11 Tingira Crescent, Sunrise Beach. Qld. 4567

         This letter is submitted in support of Sea Vista Body Corporate CTS 18209 Planning
         Application for Minor Changes to our previous Application for Planning Approval which was
         submitted previously on our behalf by Building Approvals United OLD.

         We have attached a copy of our previous letter outlining the reasons for the changes we
         wish to make, in particular, the pool fencing.
         Please find enclosed
             a) Minor Change Application Form
             b) Revised Drawing showing what is now proposed
             c) Email of no objection from Adjacent Property

         We are proposing to build an environmentally friendly timber fence, as shown on the
         attached drawing, and then create an evergreen vertical landscape by planting mature
         native shrubs (as shown or the Council approval) to at least fence height to provide a green
         vertical landscape and cover the fencing which is also more natural and softer than the
         existing solid block wall.

         This will enhance the street landscape, and Owners will get the additional recreational space
         we so desperately need in our pool area, especially for adults and guests to comfortably
         supervise children, and for children to enjoy the pool area.

         Equally importantly, this should also mitigate public safety issues that we are
         experiencing. As you know, we experience random, but frequent, visits by youths climbing
         onto the wall and jumping off the fence and bomb diving into the pool. We suspect these
         youths are drinking alcohol (having found beer bottles occasionally), so that is equally
         worrying with the potential risk to themselves by their reckless acts. Relocating the fence
         nearer to our boundary will deter this reckless behaviour and make it less attractive for
         these youths to contemplate such actions. This has been going on now for 12 months or so,
         and we fear it is a question of time before there is serious injury to one or more of these
         youths. Further, the design of our proposed fence will significantly limit any such climbing
         or jumping action.
