                       Re:     14 Wyandra St, Noosa Heads - Further Advice


            With reference to the abovementioned development application and the subsequent
            further advice from Council, we have prepared a response to the engineering matters
            raised as follows:

            Vehicle Crossover
               1. Provide additional detail demonstrating the intended driveway crossover
                  design. The additional detail must be prepared by a suitably qualified
                  person (RPEQ – Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland) and must
                  include, but not be limited to:

                    a. a RS-049 compliant driveway crossover design; or
                    b. demonstrate the need for driveway crossover design that does not comply
                       with RS-049.

            On-site Manoeuvring
               2. Provide amended Vehicle Swept Path plans demonstrating how a B99
                   vehicle can enter the site and each carpark, and exit the site in a forward
                   gear without failure. The amended plans must be prepared by a suitably
                   qualified person (RPEQ – Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland)
                   and must include, but not be limited to:

                    a. suitable start/end locations of the B99 vehicle, ensuring individuals are
                       able to enter/exit the parked vehicle; and
                    b. vehicle swept paths must not enter areas dedicated for landscaping.

            The engineering issues identified by Council have been addressed by the updated
            drawings. A 6m wide driveway generally in accordance with Standard Drawing RS-049
            has been detailed, demonstrating compliant vehicle swept paths.



            We believe that the above satisfactorily addresses the engineering matters raised
