4.3 Summary of Observations
We recommend the summary of observations which follows in Sections 4.3.1 to 4.3.4 be read in conjunction
with the attached Figures 2 and 3.
4.3.1 Topography
The site is located towards the base of foreshore hillside that slopes down to the north-east at a
maximum of 20°. The site has a south-western frontage onto Spoonbill Street, which gently slopes down
to the north-west. The site surface levels within the site slope down to the north-east at between 5° and
8° to the north-eastern site boundary (see Plate 2).
Plate 2: Rear Yard, Proposed Location of the Pool and Deck, Looking South-East.
The north-eastern site boundary was lined by a steeper area (about 5m width) that sloped down to the
north-east at 15° to the relatively flat wetland area (see Plate 3).
