Risk & Opportunities
There are a wide range of risks if the final Master Plan is not approved. This risk directly impacts
Council's ability to subsequently address the range of public domain community concerns,
infrastructure and asset management, amenity, level of service, foreshore erosion and tidal
inundation.

The third phase of community engagement (November to December 2024) provided the opportunity
to re-engage meaningfully with the public and private sectors to ensure the formation of a successful
final Master Plan. The outcomes from the latest phase of community consultation resulted in a
Master Plan which embodies responsive design strategies but also captures and reflects the
communities stated desires for the foreshore.
