Good morning Marcus,
 
I am seeking clarity on the bushfire management requirements for the site as I am unclear of the actual works required for the subdivision.  I have included some exerts from the Fire Management Plan and would appreciate some clarification on the below.  The inclusion of a plan in the fire management plan may assist to identify where the works are required and the extent of works required.
 
Also it would be appreciated if you can stop the decision period again to allow this clarification and an amended plan of the covenant area to be provided.
 
*	Is 3.6.1 referring to the existing access into the site?  And sorry but I can not see 9m indicated on any plans?  See engineering plan of passing bays below.  What impact does this 9m turning area have on vegetation.
*	Is 3.6.2 asking for a fire trail around the building envelopes? How wide is this? How will this work with the ecological plan which sets out the clearing.  Should this be in an easement to ensure it is maintained and accessible to both parties since it must be mowed continually?
*	3.6.3 then seems to ask for a 6m wide area in the building envelopes kept clear of structures and landscaping?  Is this in addition to the fire trail around the building envelopes
*	In terms of 3.8.1 – what grass and mid storey vegetation is being referred to – is this in the building envelopes which are being cleared or does it extend further and how much further?
*	What area is 3.8.2  referring to.

Would it be possible for Council to send a quick email outlining which sections of the bushfire management plan need to be updated / clarified? 
 
Based on our conversation earlier this week, we understand Council wants clarity around the following items:
 
-          What measures are required from a bushfire perspective.
-          Further information on the fire trail.
-          Further information on the non-continuous canopy cover. 
 
Could you please confirm any additional items we should be getting further advice on?
