Crackerjack - Other Change Planning Report
improves relationships with adjacent residential uses, supported by an acoustic report
confirming compliance with noise limits.
• Parking and traffic considerations: The site retains 25 existing car parks, with no additional
parking demand generated due to the redistribution of use areas within the approved
footprint.
This Other Change Application maintains the site’s primary function as a recreational space,
supporting the ongoing viability of bowls club activities while introducing strategic enhancements
to secure its long-term operation. The changes will enable Crackerjack to better serve both local
residents and visitors, contributing positively to the Cooroy Local Plan’s strategic objectives.
Approval of this application is sought subject to reasonable and relevant conditions, ensuring the
site remains a community-focused, economically sustainable, and well-integrated venue within the
Noosa Shire.
This report should be read in conjunction with the accompanying covering letter, DA Form and
Appendices. The development is appropriate and will not impact upon the amenity of the locality.
Council’s approval of the application is therefore sought, subject to relevant and reasonable
conditions.
