My husband and I have just spent a few days at ‘The Hastings’. We especially selected this resort for its unique features which include charming individual villas, greenery and sun filled open spaces.  This complex is strikingly different to the many surrounding hotel style facilities which resemble those found anywhere.

We were therefore very disappointed to see the redevelopment proposal for the amalgamation of two units.  Such a large and high structure would change the character and ambience of ‘The Hastings’, a property which is like an oasis in the heart of busy Hastings Street.

I wish to express my concern that this attractive property will be spoiled if this development goes ahead.
