The information requested is set out below:
Issue
The application material is required to provide offset plantings as part of remediation works for trees removed. The applicant is requested to demonstrate suitable locations are available for offsets within the golf course grounds. This could be demonstrated through an updated Golf Course Management Plan.
Information Required
Provide a revised Golf Course Management Plan that considers but not limited to the following:
Delineate body corporate, golf course and council lands.
Arboricultural assessment and recommendations for long-term tree health and vegetation management.
Golf Course management zones (Turf, tee boxes, greens, bunkers, hazards, landscaped areas, ecologically sensitive areas, conservation areas)
Differentiation of the required management of each golf course zone
Water zone management – weeding, native plants, maintenance methods, chemical use, habitat creation and protection, floating plant management.
Supplementary planting – Natural area zones, ecological corridors, and landscape zones. Species lists for each zone.
Fencing plan showing all the fencing around the course. Maintenance / replacement requirements
Fertilization, pest and weed control program
Methodology for recording significant works (dead tree removal or trimming branches) kept on file so that it can be produced for Council if required.
