SERVICE AREA – DISASTER MANAGEMENT
Summary
Objective: Provision of a co-ordinated multi-agency response in order to lessen the impact of emergencies/disasters
on the community and to meet Council’s obligations under the Disaster Management Act 2003.
Activities: Activities, systems and strategies to ensure that there is the appropriate coordination of resources to deal
with all aspects of an emergency or disaster event in order to lessen the impact on the community.
