Stormwater Gully Pit Insert
Maintenance is as integral to every stormwater management
system as it is to any other item of machinery or equipment.
The primary purpose of the EnviroPod® Stormwater Gully Pit
insert is to filter out and remove pollutants from entering
our waterways. To ensure that the EnviroPod® continues
to function effectively, it is important that the pollutants
it captures are periodically removed, and the filtration
components properly cleaned.
Maintenance requirements and frequency are dependent
on the pollutant load characteristics of each site, as well
as the occurrence of events such as chemical spills or
excessive sediment loading due to site erosion or extreme
storms. Similarly, the system should be inspected after all
major storm events.
