Noosa Council Policy - Waste Collection Services
DEFINITIONS
Bulk bin. A large commercial bin greater in capacity than a 240 litre or 360 litre Mobile Garbage
Bin (MGB) which may or may not have wheels.
Cluster Bin Service. A group of one or more bins located in a strategic location such as on road
reserve where the bin/s can be serviced by the collection contractor. Cluster bin services are
provided at the discretion of council staff.
Waste service: Council's collection of waste from premises within the defined waste collection
area provided by a waste contractor.
