POOL SAFETY BARRIERS TO BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH QUEENSLAND DEVELOPMENT CODE MP3.4, AS1926.1 & 2 AND THE BUILDING ACT
(CHAPTER 8). RESUSCITATION SIGNS MUST BE MOUNTED IN PROMINENT POSITIONS.
WARNING SIGN PROVIDED TO SERVE THE PROPERTY PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF THE POOL OR SPA IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 233 OF THE
BUILDING ACT 1975. THE WARNING SIGN MUST BE DISPLAYED UNTIL A BUILDING CERTIFIER HAS PROVIDED A CERTIFICATE IN THE APPROVED
FORM STATING THE POOL IS A COMPLYING POOL.
PRIOR TO FILLING THE POOL TO A DEPTH EXCEEDING 300MM THE BUILDING CERTIFIER MUST INSPECT AND PROVIDE CONFIRMATION (FORM 17)
THAT THE POOL SAFETY BARRIERS ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BUILDING ACT
