CSR  PROPOSED TRUCK MOVEMENTS ON LAKE MACDONALD DRIVE

 

This is a submission to the council in regard to the above matter.

 

It is being proposed that approximately 100 trucks a day will be using this quite busy narrow road. This will cause a considerable danger to other road users, especially in regard to the truck entry and exit points from where they collect the clay. This latter place is immediately over the crest of a hill.

 

Also the trucks will be entering Elm Street opposite the Cooroy Primary School another potentially dangerous intersection.

 

There is, of course, the issue of damage to the roads of so many trucks using them every working day of the year.
