2020 - 21 Annual Report
Our Council
Noosa Shire Council was created in 1910 under the Queensland Local Authorities Act of 1902.
In 2008, the Shire was amalgamated with Maroochy Shire and Caloundra City Councils to form
the Sunshine Coast Regional Council.
On 1 January 2014, Noosa Shire Council was re-established as a local government after the
Noosa community campaigned for a number of years to restore its own local government.
