○ Only task-specific lighting used during events or maintenance.
○ No permanent floodlighting directed towards residential boundaries.
4.2 Eastern Boundary
● Restricted Lighting:
○ Motion-sensor security lights only in eastern courtyard and service areas.
○ Lights activate only when staff or delivery drivers access the area.
● Light Spill Prevention:
○ Fixtures angled downwards to avoid light trespass into 11 Opal Street
residences.
○ Automatic timers ensure lights deactivate outside service hours.
4.3 Outdoor Patron Areas (Western Side)
● Ambient Lighting:
○ Warm, low-intensity lighting installed in outdoor dining and playground
areas.
○ Dimmers used to reduce brightness progressively through the evening.
● Directional Fixtures:
○ Lights targeted towards seating areas only.
○ No direct line-of-sight to neighbouring properties.
4.4 Emergency Lighting
● Exit Lighting:
○ Emergency lights provided at all exits, pathways, and stairwells.
