3. Details of Submission
~ (We), make the following submission: IN{e object to the proposal for a servk:e station development as per the Applicatk>n MCUl510095 at
I Lot 30 SP 170751, 115 Eumundi-Noosa Road (adjacent to the GSLC and open-air school pool) because Wle believe:
I * the proximity of a service station, an open-air swimming pool. approximately 900 school children, an electricity substation and a higher volume of traffic
I entering this adjacent sile poses a number of unnecessary and unacceptable health and safety risks for our school community (on a daily basis. but also
I in the event of an unforeseen incident or emergency)
1* the traffic Impact and congestion ISSUesalong thiS section of Eumunch-Noosa Road and at the entry and exit pornts to both roundabouts In the lmmec!lale
I vicinity (Goodchap Street and Walter Hay Drive) wilt be significant and unacceptable
I * there are components of the proposed service station development which are inconsistent and! or non compliant with the Noosa plan
'* there is a not a need for the proposed development, given that Council has recently approved a service station/shop at 139 Eumundi-Noosa Road
iThese concerns are a brief summary only, and lNI/e support a more comprehensive Submission which will be lodged by our parent Action Group prior
to the due date 18/12/15.
