SERVICES & ORGANISATION COMMITTEE MEETING AGENDA                                           12 JULY 2016


Council’s Governance Advisor has liaised with Mr Williams and Mr Jaggers to:
 Advise of Council’s appreciation for the valuable contribution that they have both made to the
   Committee over the past two years; and
 Confirm their interests with respect to undertaking another two year term on the Committee.

Both Mr Williams and Mr Jaggers have confirmed that have enjoyed their roles on the Committee
and would appreciate the opportunity to continue for another term subject to Council’s approval.

That Council note the report by the Chief Executive Officer to the Planning & Organisation
Committee Meeting dated 22 July 2014 and appoint Scott Williams and Cameron Jaggers as the
two external members of the Audit Committee for a term of two years.

Finance & Risk

Having appropriately qualified, competent and practically minded external members appointed to
the Committee is essential to ensure that the Committee adequately discharges its important
oversight role.

It is with confidence based on Mr Williams and Mr Jaggers performance on the Committee to date
that they are recommended for reappointment.
