6.8.2 Zoning
Under the Noosa Plan 2006 the site is located within the Noosa Heads locality and is
zoned as Open space conservation, Attached housing and Semi-attached housing (FIGURE
3).


6.8.3 Biodiversity Overlay Code
The subject site is mapped under the Noosa Plan (2006) locality biodiversity overlay map
as containing Environmental Protection Area (FIGURE 11). The proposed development
will result in the loss of 0.51 ha of Environmental Protection Area habitat (FIGURE 12)
and is therefore assessable under the Biodiversity overlay code. An assessment of the
proposed development against the biodiversity overlay code is provided in APPENDIX 4.


6.8.4 Schedule 7 – Koala Habitat Areas
The subject site is not mapped under Schedule 7 (koala habitat areas) of the Noosa Plan
2006.
