I wish to submit my objection to the application for an NBN Telecommunication Tower to
be erected at 244 Tablelands Road, Cooran.

This proposed tower fails to comply with most of the policies as set out in the "Noosa
Planning Scheme Policy 23" In particular matters for consideration.

The proposed tower will clearly result in the following;

      Clearing of vegetation to a ridgeline.
      Visually scare and degradation of views.
      Loss of distinct character of a rural area of the shire.
      Alteration to the key landform and landscape characters by domination of the
      structure
      Impact on views from riparian zones.

Further more the proposed tower will create a major impact to views and clutter in the
area. This will have a very high negative impact to the exiting views of the surrounding
properties and to those further up Tablelands Road.

The owners and occupiers of these properties rely on Noosa Council Planning to enforce
the requirements of the "Noosa Plan" to protect the amenity of the area in particular to
the views all these properties are entitled to maintain.

If a community is not protected by the policy as set in the "Noosa Plan", then a precedent
will be set, making all policy of the "Noosa Plan" invalid.

I trust Noosa Council Planning will enforce the very clear policies of the Planning Scheme
Policy.
