This letter is to support the proposed Medical Centre to be located at 45 Maple Street opposite
Eden Private Hospital. We believe that it will benefit the community by increasing the scope of
medical services in the Noosa Shire, Cooroy and Gympie regions. This region has a catchment area of
over 1000,000 people, many of whom fit the demographic for the need for further medical facilities
and associated Imaging.

The new medical development will provide complimentary services and additional services to those
offered at the Eden Private Hospital and Noosa Private Hospital.

There is aclear need for healthcare facilities to co-locate with hospitals in offering convenience and
accessibility for patients and practitioners. The proximity to Eden Hospital allows optimisation of care

and convenience for practitioners and patients alike.
