Hi There, It’s a strong No from us. We live on the corner of Opal and Kauri Street and we do not want a noisy car wash at the bottom of our street. We already have to put up with the increased traffic using Opal street and Kauri Street as a bypass. Large Trucks and Buses are a constant during the week as they don’t want to use the intersection at Diamond st. Then we have Your Mates customers clogging the road for parking. Using the grass verge ( that we maintain as the council won’t) as a parking lot and killing the grass. Drunk noisy customers peeing on our fence and then driving off at speed. Opal Street has become a drag way as cars speed down to the corner of the road. Speed humps are required. This used to be a quiet area, now it’s noisy with increased cars and now the potential of having a 24/7 car wash to add more noise and cars. No thanks. We oppose the development on the grounds of increased noise and car traffic. We live here and we don’t want it in our backyard. Navanne & Paul Skene 64 Kauri Street Cooroy. No, to the Cooroy Car Wash - put it in the industrial area like they do in Noosa not in People’s backyards.
