4   PETITIONS

    1      PETITION: REQUEST FOR COUNCIL TO ADDRESS SPEEDING MATTERS IN
           SOLWAY DRIVE, SUNSHINE BEACH
           Council Resolution
           Moved:           Cr Wellington
           Seconded:        Cr Wilkie
           That the petition tabled by Cr Wellington requesting that Council address the issue of
           speeding vehicles in Solway Drive, Sunshine Beach be received and referred to the Chief
           Executive Officer to determine appropriate action.
                                                                          Carried unanimously.

    2      PETITION: REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF YELLOW NO PARKING LINE MARKING
           AND REGULAR MONITORING OF ILLEGAL PARKING IN VAL CRESCENT,
           NOOSAVILLE
           Council Resolution
           Moved:           Cr Wellington
           Seconded:        Cr Jurisevic
           That the petition tabled by Cr Wellington requesting that Council extend the existing
           yellow no parking line marking from the corner of Val Crescent to past the Arcare
           development in Val Crescent and undertake regular monitoring of illegal parking in the
           street be received and referred to the Chief Executive Officer to determine appropriate
           action.
                                                                            Carried unanimously.


    3      PETITION: REQUEST COUNCIL TO IMPROVE THE SAFETY AND AMENITY OF
           PITTA STREET, PEREGIAN BEACH
           Council Resolution
           Moved:           Cr Wellington
           Seconded:        Cr Jackson
           That the petition tabled by Cr Wellington requesting that Council improve the safety and
           amenity of Pitta Street, Peregian Beach with regards to parking and pedestrian access
           be received and referred to the Chief Executive Officer to determine appropriate action.
                                                                           Carried unanimously.
