NOOSA SPRINGS GOLF AND SPA RESORT TURF AND VEGETATION MANAGEMENT PLAN

Herbicides / Greens

No Boom spraying of herbicides on any green surfaces.

Hand weed

Spot dab weeds with the Yates Weeding Brushes.

Only Turf Registered Herbicides used,

HALOSULFURON-METHYL – Selective control of Sedges

DSMA – Selective control of Paspalum, Summer Grass, Crab Grass

Herbicides/Tees

No Boom spraying of herbicides on any Tee surfaces.

Only spot spray weeds (Knapsack, 100L Silvan Spot spray Tank or C Dax 400L spot sprayer)

Only Turf Registered Herbicides ARE used, Chemical Groups to be swapped to avoid
resistant issues. Where possible, the lowest chemical schedule herbicide is to be used.
Below is an example of what is typically used,

HALOSULFURON-METHYL – Selective control of Sedges

DSMA/MSMA – Selective control of Paspalum, Summer Grass, Crab Grass

BROMOXYNIL + MCPA – Selective Control of Broadleaf weeds

QUINCLORAC - Selective control of Summer Grass, Kikuyu and Clover

MONUMENT LIQUID - Selective control of Sedges, Broadleaf, Kikuyu and Bahia Grasses

Herbicides/Fairways

Pre-emergent Herbicides – Spectacle / Barricade – Pre -emergent control on Weeds – Boom
spray. This minimises the post herbicide usage over a 6–12-month period.
Post Herbicide usage below,

Only spot spray weeds (Knapsack, 100L Silvan Spot spray Tank or C Dax 400L spot sprayer)

Only Turf Registered Herbicides are used, Chemical Groups to be swapped to avoid resistant
