NOOSA SPRINGS GOLF AND SPA RESORT TURF AND VEGETATION MANAGEMENT PLAN


By following this turf management plan, Noosa Springs Golf Resort can maintain high-quality
playing surfaces, protect the environment, and enhance the overall experience for golfers
while ensuring long-term sustainability and resilience in the face of environmental challenges.



2. Nutrition

Greens Nutrition program

1.2Ha total greens space of Tifdwarf couch

2 to 2.5kg actual Nitrogen (Ha) per year (this will depend on growth rate/season)

Potassium actuals will be determined from soil tests.
Total of 4 x granular applications per year, - February Greens Renovations, May application
(Leading into winter) September (Winter repair) and November Greens renovations.

Nitrogen, soluble / liquid applications (Fortnightly Boom spray applications) 12 x per year with
the aim of light consistent growth patterns. Minimise growth/thatch build up.

Nitrogen sources – Organic or has a large percentage of UMAXX / UFLEXX stabilised nitrogen
technology, this provides protection against all three forms of nitrogen loss – Leaching,
denitrification and volatilization. For example, (MP SPRING START16 - 1 - 10 + 2Ca + 1Mg +
0.5Mn 65% of nitrogen as UMAXX and 25% as IBDU for ultimate turf response for spring
regeneration) or liquid, (MP BRILLIANCE 20 - 0 - 0 + 6Fe + 1Mg, High analysis stabilised liquid
nitrogen fertiliser for long lasting feeding of turf. 6% iron for deeper green colour and greater
turf vitality. 1% magnesium for enhanced chlorophyll production) (Or similar product).

Other products used, MP Promote, MP Reinforce and Vitalise (Bio stimulants)
Specially formulated liquid organic complex to stimulate and support turf during stressful
growth periods. It contains a high concentration of plant derived amino acids in combination
with beneficial microbes, humic and fulvic acid, kelp and carbohydrates to boost soil biology,
increase soil carbon, stimulate plant growth and break down organic matter.

•       Inoculates treated plants with beneficial VAM fungi (40,000 propagules per 10 L)

•       Greater uptake of soil applied fertiliser - P, K, Fe, Zn

•       Improved drought tolerance and water use efficiency

•       Contains plant and root stimulants and trace minerals
