• Protective fencing must be installed before any machinery or materials enter the site
and should remain in place until all earthworks and construction are completed.
• Construction personnel must avoid placing the following within TPZs: fill, litter,
vehicles, machinery, excavated materials, stockpiles, felled trees, mulch, or any
construction-related debris.
• Any work within the TPZ of retained trees must be supervised by the Project
Arborist to ensure compliance with best practices.
5. TREE REMOVAL (Per Proposed Site Demolition Plan)
• The following trees are designated for removal:
o T1 & T3 (front of property)
o T6, T7, T13, T14, T15 & T28 (rear of property)
o All other vegetation at the rear of the property, consisting of
Cinnamomum camphora (Camphor Laurel), due to its classification as an
invasive species.
6. CONCLUSION
• All Structural Root Zones (SRZs) of trees on adjoining properties are well outside the
development site boundary and will not be impacted.
• Tree Protection Zone (TPZ) encroachments to the property boundary are
considered minor, with adequate contiguous offsets compensating for any
potential root loss.
• All activities within the TPZs or encroachment zones of retained adjoining trees must
be conducted under the supervision of the Project Arborist to ensure compliance
with AS 4970-2009 – Protection of Trees on Development Sites and to minimise any
adverse effects on tree health and stability.
