I read the public notice in the Noosa News recently regarding the land the Cooroy-Noos Genealogy Group is intending to develop and wish to comment my approval of the idea.
The current place of "abode" is quite awful and it would be wonderful to have a purpose built construction to accommodate the space for its many activities.
What I love about the group is that it provides a large collection of local history resources as well as family history research.
The Group’s present facility is proving an enormous challenge due to lack of space, dampness and mould.  The experienced volunteers are amazing and it would be wonderful to provide them with better facilities to assist the many visitors to the region.
The  social interaction of this group for over 50's is incredible and something very important to our aging population who are researching their ancestors.
look forward to hearing that this applctiopn has bee approved
