3.5 Servicing and Circulation
It is expected that the proposed development would be serviced by the following vehicles:

       12.5m (AUSTROADS) heavy rigid vehicle (HRV);
       8.8m (AUSTROADS) medium rigid vehicle (MRV);
       6.99m (21 seat) mini bus;
       6.4m (AUSTROADS) small rigid vehicle (SRV);
       5.2m (B99) car; and
       4.91m (B85) car.

The proposed layout (refer Overall Site Plan (Drawing No. SK01, Revision E) suits service
vehicles access and circulation.

The manoeuvring of the relevant design vehicles has been assessed using CAD based program
AutoTurn 7.0. The swept path diagrams are provided as Figures A5 to A12 within Appendix A of
the report and can be summarised as follows:

       Figure A5 illustrates a 12.5m Heavy Rigid Vehicle (HRV) manoeuvring requirement to
        access the emergency bay;

       Figure A6 illustrates a 10.7m Large Rigid Vehicle (LRV) manoeuvring requirement to
        access the loading bay;

       Figure A7 illustrates a 8.8m Medium Rigid Vehicle (MRV) manoeuvring requirement to
        access the loading bay. As shown, two MRVs can pass without conflict within the
        passing zone;

       Figure A8 illustrates a 6.4m Small Rigid Vehicle (SRV) manoeuvring requirement to
        circulate the roundabout in front of the new administration and entry block;

       Figure A9 illustrates a 6.4m SRV (an ambulance) manoeuvring requirement to access
        the ambulance bay;

       Figure A10 illustrates a 6.99m (21 seats) mini bus manoeuvring requirement to circulate
        the roundabout in front of the new administration and entry block and to access the
        northern car park; and

       Figure A11 illustrates a 5.2m (B99) car manoeuvring requirement to circulate the
        roundabout in front of the new administration and entry block and to access the activity
        block.

       Figure A12 illustrates a 4.91m (B85) car manoeuvring requirement to turn around at the
        turnabout bay of the southern car park.

                                                                                              4516 - TIA - 004(1) .doc
